SAO PAULO, Sept. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — GCL System Integration Technology Co. Ltd (GCL-SI), a subsidiary of the world’s leading energy group, GCL, has recently organized one workshop and co-hosted three others in Brazil to help the company communicate in-depth with its partners and deepen ties to local distribution markets. There were over 300 people attending the workshops.
The first workshop was in Sao Paulo on Aug 25, presented by GCL-SI and its brother company, GCL New Energy Holdings Ltd (GCL New Energy). Focusing primarily on developers, assemblers and investors, the workshop was attended by Chinese telecom giants including Huawei and Shenzhen KSTAR. To enhance cooperation with partners on major projects and to promote GCL brand, the workshop contained a detailed presentation on the company and products, both solar panel technology and storage systems. There was also a discussion of the results of the company’s research into Generation Distribution (GD) in the Brazilian market.
In the following days, GCL also cooperated in three other workshops with its distributors Balfar Solar, Eurosolar and Fenix Solar respectively. With the participation of local governments, assemblers, distributed project owners and installers, the workshops were mainly held for GCL-SI showcasing its module products and technologies, assisting its distributors to move the business forward and launching technical training for installers.
The production launch event of Brazilian Component, which is developed from GCL technology and raw materials, was also held during the workshop with Balfar Solar in Maringa. Based in southern Brazil, Balfar Solar is turning from a distributor to a manufacturer. “We have introduced local investment and built a component factory with an annual output of 120MW in order to craft localized products with GCL-SI. As one of GCL-SI’s distributors, we have helped GCL widely publicize in the Brazilian market. We greatly value our long-standing partnership with GCL-SI and have strong confidence in expanding the Brazilian market together,” said Antonio Barbara, the Chairman of Balfar Solar.
Portugal-based Eurosolar is one of the largest distributors in central Brazil. By providing GCL-SI with its warehouse and sales team, Eurosolar plays a crucial role in helping GCL-SI expand the central Brazilian market. During the visit of GCL-SI in Goiania, Eurosolar shared its experience at investing in large-scale power projects and module product sales. Futhermore, both of GCL-SI and Eurosolar were invited to the state government and met Danusia Arantes Ferreira who is in charge of the Energia, telecommunication and infrastructure sector from Goiás Govenment to discuss the power supply of 100,000 houses under construction in the state.
Being a distributor and an assembler at the same time, Fenix Solar is a new partner with GCL-SI, focusing on the northern Brazilian market. By holding workshops with these companies, GCL-SI has achieved great publicity in Brazil and deepened ties to the local distribution market. Mr. Shu Hua, the president of GCL-SI, pointed out that although they were always looking for new partnership opportunities, they valued existing partners very much and were dedicated to moving cooperations forward.
From 2017, GCLSI also started the partnership with WEG which is a well-known Brazilian leading company in the energy sector. GCLSI will provide best quality modules to WEG for their Distributed Generation projects.
