At Key Energy 2026, Italy’s premier renewable energy gathering, GCL highlighted its advanced PV solutions and sustainable materials, demonstrating practical innovation for utility, commercial, and residential applications.

High-Efficiency SiRo Modules
GCL underscored its technological leadership by presenting its SiRo module portfolio, built on advanced TOPCon and back-contact cell designs.
* SiRo T series: NT12/66GDF-730W and NT12R/66GDF-650W modules for large-scale projects. These deliver high power and energy yield, reducing costs and improving returns.
* SiRo B series: Full Black NR10R/54BGDF modules features all-black back-contact modules for seamless integration, providing high performance and appealing aesthetics for residential and commercial installations.
The SiRo modules offer high efficiency, robust temperature coefficients, and strong performance under shaded conditions. These features support reliable, consistent energy production across a variety of installation environments, reducing downtime and maximising usable power output.
Low-Carbon FBR Granular Silicon
GCL also highlighted its FBR granular silicon, produced via fluidised-bed reactor technology. Verified by the British Standards Institution (BSI), the material achieves a cradle-to-gate carbon footprint of 14.276 kg CO₂e/kg, significantly lower than industry averages.
This low-carbon upstream material supports high-efficiency PV modules while reducing the environmental impact of solar manufacturing. Combined with advanced SiRo modules, FBR granular silicon enables turnkey solutions that are both high-performance and environmentally responsible, meeting growing decarbonization requirements in Europe.
Italy’s Growing PV Market
Italy has emerged as one of Europe’s fastest-growing solar markets. According to industry data, the country’s cumulative installed photovoltaic capacity reached approximately 37 GW in 2024 and is projected to grow to around 43 GW by 2025 and 52 GW by 2026. This robust growth reflects strong national momentum in renewable energy deployment, driven by supportive policies and increasing demand for high-performance solar technologies.
GCL used Key Energy 2026 to spotlight solutions tailored to Italy’s PV market and to foster discussion with local stakeholders on advancing renewables with high-performance technology.
Key Energy 2026 Concludes
The three-day event concluded on March 6, 2026, with GCL generating strong interest in its SiRo T and B series modules and low-carbon FBR granular silicon. The exhibition reinforced GCL’s role as a provider of efficient, sustainable, and market-tailored PV solutions, helping European clients advance both economic and environmental objectives.
