On November 14, GCL Group Chairman Zhu Gongshan led a delegation to Bangkok, Thailand, to hold a high-level meeting with Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC). During the visit, the two companies signed a cooperation agreement, marking an important step in GCL’s efforts to expand its global presence and deepen energy collaboration in Southeast Asia.

The high-level exchange coincides with the official visit of Thai leaders and senior government officials to China to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on clean energy, digital infrastructure, energy storage technologies, and carbon capture, outlining a new vision for future cooperation.

Professor Dr. Supot Teachavorasinskun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GPSC, warmly welcomed the visit of the GCL delegation and introduced Thailand’s energy transition policies and development priorities. He highlighted that GCL's innovative achievements in the deep integration of green energy and digital technology are highly in line with GPSC's needs to promote the upgrading of Thailand's energy industry. He emphasized that GCL’s technological strengths and industry experience make it a strong partner for GPSC, laying the foundation for future collaboration across a broader range of areas. He expressed confidence that the partnership will support the growth of energy markets in Southeast Asia and beyond.

Chairman Zhu Gongshan noted that China–Thailand relations are entering a new stage, and the cooperation between GCL and GPSC reflects the growing synergy between the two countries in the fields of energy and technology. GCL will take this signing as an opportunity to further implement the memorandum of cooperation reached in June this year, give full play to its comprehensive advantages in energy technology, intelligent manufacturing, and global layout. The company aims to accelerate the rollout of its integrated strategy combining computing power, electricity supply, renewable energy, and energy storage in Southeast Asia. He added that the collaboration represents not only complementary strengths between the two companies but also GCL’s commitment to contributing its technological expertise to international markets.

During the specific consultations, the two sides exchanged views on natural gas power development, local manufacturing of perovskite and TOPCon solar modules, carbon capture, and potential commercialization models. They reached several preliminary agreements that will support the next phase of substantive cooperation.

Mr. Worawat Pitayasiri, Chief Executive Officer of GPSC, and Mr. Tao Feng, Vice President of GCL Group, also attended the meetings.
